Genshin Impact Version 2.8 Arriving July 13

To ring in the summer season, miHoyo announced that Version 2.8 of Genshin Impact, dubbed “Summer Fantasia” will kick off on July 13.

This update will kick off the Summertime Odyssey seasonal event in the company of Fischl, Xinyan, Kaedahara Kazuha, and Mona. As part of this update, the Golden Apple Archipelago has seen a drastic makeover that has brought with it new realms, extensive exploration gameplay, additional treasure chests, and unexpected storylines around the Traveler’s companions.

Meanwhile, Diluc, Kaedehara Kazuha, and new playable four-star Shikanoin Heizou (the first melee catalyst user in the game) will each receive events and stories of their own.
