At the end of the Crimson Fleet UC storyline, you get a choice. This Give Kryx’s Legacy To The UC Or The Crimson Fleet Choice Guide In Starfield tells you what happens whether you decide to give the cash to the UC or Crimson Fleet.

As with all choices, remember, save the game first. There are many variables and events leading up to this quest that may change the outcome and choices available to you. A save allows you to quickly return and adjust if that happens.

If You Give It To The UC
You immediately enter a large-scale space battle against the Crimson Fleet scouts. If you gathered appropriate evidence throughout the UC story, you will have additional troops aid you in the fight against the Crimson Fleet. You then need to assault The Key. You engage in a large-scale space battle, destroying various weapon batteries in space. You wipe out the entire fleet and kill Jasmine, all of the vendors, Samina, Bog, you can save Shinya by deactivating the bomb in his chest. Naeva manages to escape. You can convince Delgado not to blow up The Key, he will survive and get taken into custody. You get access to the SysDef mission board which focuses on X. You also get 250,000 and Sysdef Formal Uniform. I did get attacked sporadically by Crimson Fleet whilst exploring but never encountered Naeva again.


If You Give It To The Crimson Fleet
You wipe out a UC advance force that attacks The Key. You then need to defend defensive batteries from UC’s attack. You then have an epic space battle with the UC before boarding The Vigilance. Depending on earlier choices, you may be joined by Evgeny, Estelle, and Adler, who aided you in earlier Crimson Fleet missions.

You can convince Commander Ikande, LT. Toft to stop the self-destruct so they won’t be killed, otherwise you need to kill them. You get to loot them, Ikanda has an epic rifle. You also get the 250k

Outside of the moral implications of choosing the good/bad guy route, you also lose access to The Key’s vendors, if you side with UC. These are some of the best vendors in the game, so choose wisely.
