God of War Ragnarok fans are eagerly waiting for the game to release, and the developer has revealed some interesting details about the character design process.

God of War Ragnarok has been one of the most anticipated games of this year, and there were a number of rumors surrounding the game. The delay in the release date announcement made many fans believe that the game would get delayed, despite Sony reassuring fans that it is still slated to release later this year. Finally, an announcement was made earlier this month confirming that the game will be released in November this year. Pre-orders kicked off today, and fans had a pretty hard time getting their hands on the most expensive edition of the game. The Jotnar edition got sold within five minutes in pretty much every region, which speaks volumes about the hype around the game.

Amidst all that, Rag Grasseti, who is the Art Director at Sony for God of War, revealed quite interesting details about the character design process. In one of his Instagram AMA sessions, a fan asked Rag which was the hardest character to design in the game. Rag reveals that the character is Odin, and further adds that he worked on it for a long time with Dela Longfish, who is the Lead Character Concept Artist at Santa Monica Studio for God of War. He goes on to say that he cannot wait for people to see the character, and fans are already pretty exciting about it.

While we have seen glimpses of the various characters in the trailers so far, Odin will reportedly be the main antagonist in God of War Ragnarok, and the next trailer will likely showcase that. As we are inching close to the release of the game, we should be getting a few more showcases by Sony pretty soon.
