Grab rare fossil Pokémon in latest Max Raid Battle event

Nintendo has revealed details for the latest Pokémon Sword & Shield Max Raid Battle events, with a focus on fossil pokemon. The latest event runs from today March 18 through to March 27, 2022, with the possibility to get some of the rarer fossil Pokémon from previous generations of the game.

So, what can you find in the latest Pokémon Sword & Shield Max Raid Battle Event? Players who enter a one or two-star raid den have an increased chance to encounter Tyrunt, Tirtouga, Archen, and Amaura. Those of you who encounter a three to five-star raid den have a chance to encounter the evolved versions of the previous Pokémon, those being Tyrantrum, Carracosta, Archeops, and Aurorus.

On top of this, there are increased shiny odds, but specifically only for Tyrantrum. The shiny odds for Tyrantrum have increased to 2%, but usually, this doesn’t mean it’ll take a full fifty encounters to find a shiny. For even more information such as the attached items you’ll find on any fossil Pokémon you catch, head on over to Serebii.net for the full breakdown of the upcoming event.
