GTA VI to Have Female Main Character According to Leaks

The Grand Theft Auto series have been some of the best-selling games in the history of gaming. Their open-world play, stories and feel of realism have made the Rockstar games extraordinarily popular. Not to mention the endless freedoms to essentially do anything. That said it has almost been a decade since GTA V came out back in 2013 and fans are needing to know more about GTA VI. They are in luck. According to Bloomberg, GTA VI will have a Female Main Character.

According to this leak and some others, players will be heading back to Vice City. This fictional city is very much based on the real-life city of Miami Florida. The last time players were in Vice City was all the way back in 2002. This game was made for the original Xbox and PlayStation 2. Now it is available on mobile devices.

The original Vice City was set in the 19080s when drugs were king and Miami was a hub for certain activities. It will be interesting to see if they will be going back to that era or making it more modern day?

Either way, the games have always had a male protagonist. If these rumors end up being true, it is a major step for the franchise. GTA V had three male characters and while there have been prominent female characters, none have been in the spotlight like this. According to the leaks, the GTA VI Female Main Character will be of Latina origin.

As more is known about GTA VI, The Game Haus will continue to cover it. Though the release date is still likely a few years away, GTA fans are certainly hoping to get their hands on the game sooner rather than later.
