The sales are starting earlier and earlier, and so we’re getting things ready in good time so you can stay informed of all the Black Friday goodness.

Black Friday 2021: When Is It?

Black Friday falls on 26th November 2021, but it’s worth remembering that there will be lots of deals before and after this date. Black Friday deals will begin appearing throughout the month of November, so our advice is not to wait until the 26th — keep your eyes peeled for PS5 and PS4 deals in the coming days and weeks.

Black Friday 2021: What PS5 and PS4 Deals Will There Be?

To be honest, PS5 deals are looking like they’re going to be in short supply. With the console still difficult to find at retail, it’s unlikely there will be any discounted consoles going on sale for Black Friday. We’re hopeful that some PS5s will make their way onto shelves in time for the holiday, but we wouldn’t expect to pay less than full price.

That being said, PS5 games and accessories will show up among Black Friday’s offers. You’ll find bargains on some games you’ve been meaning to buy, such as Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Demon’s Souls, or Sackboy: A Big Adventure. Maybe an extra DualSense controller wouldn’t go amiss, or a Pulse 3D headset. There will be a good handful of deals on products like these, and we’ll of course share them with you right here as they appear.

Something else to consider is PS5 compatible SSDs. There are quite a few of them on the market now, and it could well be that some of these SSDs join the Black Friday fun.

As for PS4, we expect there will be much more choice among the Black Friday discounts for Sony’s last-gen system. There should be some nice deals on consoles and console bundles, PS4 games, and accessories such as headsets, controllers, and maybe even PSVR headsets. As with any PS5 deals we find, we’ll be keeping this page updated with all the best PS4 Black Friday offers, so check back as it draws nearer.

Whether you own a PS5, PS4, or both, something that almost always appears in Black Friday sales is PS Plus and PS Now subscriptions. Three-month and 12-month top-ups are going cheap, with some retailers layering additional promotions on top.

Finally, it’s worth mentioning that Sony will have its own Black Friday sale on PS Store. The platform holder will reduce prices on hundreds of digital PS5 and PS4 games later this month, and you can find out more about that through here.

Black Friday 2021: Where Can You Buy a PS5?

Again, purchasing a PS5 at any time of the year has proven difficult, and Black Friday will sadly be no different. We do expect Sony will restock the console at retailers to make the most of Black Friday shopping fever, but supply is very unlikely to meet demand, so you’ll have to be fast.

Currently, Walmart is advertising that PS5 consoles will be in stock starting from 22nd November, online and in-store, though it won’t be discounted for Black Friday.
