Hell Pie drops obscene old-school platforming to PC and console

Nate is the Demon of Bad Taste, on the hunt in the overworld in hope of gathering up the disgusting ingredients needed to create Satan’s birthday pie. Care to join Nate as he makes Hell Pie?

Available to purchase and download today on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch and PC, Hell Pie from Sluggerfly and Headup is an old-school inspired 3D platformer. What makes this one a tad different though is that it takes bad taste to the next level, all as you go about traversing through an adventure complete with insane environments, repugnant characters and grapple-based platforming. 

It’s the bad taste which Hell Pie revels in (I mean, just watch the trailer below for the sheer amount of censorship), but that should also mean that it’s a fun little adventure to boot. It focuses on Nate, a demon full of bad taste, as he and his little pet angel Nugget make their way through the world of Hell Pie. 

Nate and Nugget are chained together though, and that means this little pet can be utilised as a weapon, or used as a grappling hook as a means of traversal. Throw in new abilities and skills as progression is made and Hell Pie should well be a platforming adventure like no other.

Hell Pie is an obscene 3D platformer that takes bad taste to the next level! The game sees you grab the horns of Nate, the ‘Demon of Bad Taste’. He is given the honorable task of gathering the disgusting ingredients for Satan’s infamous birthday pie. To do so, Nate must venture out into the overworld and do whatever it takes to ensure those ingredients are secured in time, or there’ll be hell to pay! Luckily Nate isn’t alone on this quest, his ‘pet’ angel Nugget is there to offer support. Nugget offers his holy insight when needed, but more importantly is chained to Nate, so can be used like a grappling hook or swung around as a weapon. Nate can also equip horns he finds across the world to give him new hellish abilities. Together Nate and Nugget will explore insane environments, meet tons of repugnant characters and witness some truly shocking sights. Hell Pie is a seriously twisted take on the classic mascot platformer, come along for the ride if you think you can stomach it!
