As the holiday season unfolds, fans want to know exactly when Fortnite Winterfest 2023 ends.

The festive spirit has taken over Fortnite in December 2023. From daily free prizes to in-game decorations, Epic Games’ Battle Royale is ushering in the holiday season in style. The Item Shop’s nightly rotations also feature a mixture of beloved collaborations from the past year and new bundles, including the Chill Vibez Pack, that offer almost every skin a player could want in Chapter 5 Season 1.

So, how much longer do fans have to enjoy Winterfest 2023?

Fortnite Winterfest 2023 ends on Jan. 2, 2024, at 9 a.m. ET. Fans only have the next two weeks to enjoy everything the holiday event has to offer before it disappears from the game.

It might be enticing to spend all your time on LEGO Fortnite to close out 2023, but you would be missing out on all the holiday-themed Battle Royale changes. Sure, Snowball Launchers might not be the most competitive addition to the game, but they are fun, a little chaotic, and perfect for destroying an enemy’s builds.

Plus, you can explore Winterburg, a new landmark Epic Games added for Winterfest 2023. The small island, just northwest of Classy Courts, houses Sgt. Winter, as well as plenty of small cabins to loot off spawn.

As you play Battle Royale in the remaining days of 2023, be on the lookout for free in-game rewards and XP you can earn from exclusive Daily and Winterfest Quests.

There will likely not be another major Fortnite Winterfest 2023 update. The Epic Games company-wide vacation kicks off on Dec. 22 and ends on Jan. 7. Similar to the Summer Escape update schedule back in July, Winterfest 2023 will likely remain as it is for the remainder of the holiday season.

There will, however, be new Winterfest Quests coming to the game on the following days:

Reliable Fortnite leaker, iFireMonkey, posted the schedule on X so fans know when the latest in-game challenges are dropping during the winter break. Those who complete 19 Winterfest Quests by the time the event ends will receive the Snowglobe Smasher Pickaxe for free.
