In 2021 High Score Esports, along with the city of Farmington Hills, is opening a first of its kind amenity for players in the metro Detroit region. An esports facility based on two primary principles – community and competition. A place that supports players and the games they love. A place that encourages competition and rewards results. A place that fosters social interaction, teamwork, and sportsmanship. A place for you to reach your own high score.

Located in the new $20 million dollar 245,000 sq ft Farmington Hills Community Center known as “The Hawk.” High Score at The Hawk will be a safe and modern space where players of all levels can participate in organized training and competitive events. Occupying 3,000 sq ft the space is divided into a main gaming arena and private team room.

To compliment the amazing space, the High Score team has created a variety of events and offerings including –

  • Leagues and Tournaments – ongoing competitive events to compete for ranking and prizes in your favorite games
  • Team Building and Training – esports team creation, coaching, and training to develop your skills.
  • Intro to Esports – get a taste of competitive gaming in conjunction with the city’s “Parks and Rec” program.
  • Community Offerings – a rotating schedule of unique and educational opportunities like, Video Games and Online Safety, Kids Teach Parents to Game, Coding Camp, and many others.
  • Private Rentals – Rent the space for your birthday, corporate, or social event.

The city of Farmington Hills has spent 2020 transforming the former Harrison High School building and grounds into a beautiful $20 million dollar recreation and performing arts center. The Hawk will feature a “destination” aquatic center that will include a slide, lazy river, climbing wall, and zipline, a 7,000 sq ft fitness area, a 700-seat auditorium, as well as in house concessions.
