Destroying these creepy road signs plays a significant role in helping players complete challenges, which gives you 15,000 XP as you progress through this year’s Halloween event quest and snag some in-game cosmetics. Where are the zombie road signs in Fortnite?

To complete this challenge, there are two things you have to do. Find some zombie road signs in the world, and then destroy them to complete the quest. Fortnite doesn’t tell you the exact location of the signs, though. They can also change positions from one match to the next. While you could run across the whole map and hope to find some road signs by chance, that would take too long. An easier method is to drop down in a place that has multiple road signs nearby and then destroy them one by one. Here are some places where you have a high chance of finding zombie road signs:

• The roads surrounding Slappy Shores.
• A bunch of roads around Shattered Slabs.
• The roads near Frenzy Fields.

They’re also found near any of the numerous gas stations placed around the Fortnite map, so if you pass one by, it’s best to take a look around.

How to destroy zombie road signs in Fortnite

A total of three destroyed road signs are needed to complete the quest. If you go to the above regions, there’s a high chance you can find all three in the same area, which will help you in completing this quest in a jiffy. But unlike other objects in Fortnite, the quest road signs can’t be destroyed in any way you like. You have to get out if you’re in a car and destroy the signs by using a pickaxe.

The way to do it is you should first take a quick look around while in a car for any campers and then maneuver towards the sign, only going out for a few seconds to destroy it and then moving towards the next sign again in a car. After successfully removing all three signs, the challenge will be marked as completed, and you’ll have earned your reward of 15,000 XP.
