Following the release of Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet, we have information about how to evolve Primeape into Annihilape.

Primeape is Fighting type Pokemon with the following Abilities: Vital Spirit / Anger Point / Defiant. Meanwhile, Annihilape is a mix of Fighting and Ghost type, and has the following abilities: Vital Spirit / Inner Focus / Defiant.

What is Annihilape?

Primeape has been around since the earliest days of Pokemon. However, it now has a brand new evolution that’s introduced in the latest Switch games.

The Pokedex entry for Annihilape reads as follows: “When its anger rose beyond a critical point, this Pokémon gained power that is unfettered by the limits of its physical body.”

How to evolve Primeape into Annihilape in Pokemon Scarlet / Violet

Players will need to use Rage Fist twenty times to prompt the evolution, useable by both Primeape and Annihilape. This is actually a brand new move for Scarlet and Violet. Rage Fist converts the user’s rage into energy to attack, and the
more times the user has been hit by attacks, the greater the move’s power.
