Philanemo Mushrooms can be found under the eaves of houses in the main City of Mondstadt, as well as in Springvale and Dawn Winery. They are also sold by the NPC Chloris in Mondstadt. There are around 50 available at once, and they take 3 days to respawn once collected.
Philanemo Mushrooms are an ascension item for Klee, Mona, and Barbara. Each of these characters needs a total of 168 Mushrooms to be fully ascended until Level 90, meaning players will have to do a lot of farming if they intend on fully building out one of these characters.
Besides ascending characters, Philanemo Mushrooms can also be used to craft the Anemo Teasure Compass. With this item, players can be pointed in the direction of nearby Treasure Chests in Mondstadt, making them an extremely important when trying to get a high exploration score on the regions of Mondstadt,
For players who want to speed up their Philanemo Mushroom farming, they can purchase them from Chloris, the child NPC who sells flowers in Windrise. From Chloris, players can buy a maximum of 5 Philanemo Mushrooms every 3 days. While they do cost 1000 Mora per Mushroom, this is an easy way to grab some more of them if players are just a few short of a crafting recipe or ascension threshold.
