How To Play Sols RNG – Is It Secretly Difficult? – Droid Gamers

If you’re wondering How to play Sols RNG you’re not alone! This game is exploding in popularity but is incredibly simple with its gameplay mechanics. Or is it? What keeps returning players to this experience, and is it a good game? My guide tells you how to play Sols RNG so you can decide if it’s any fun.

Sol’s RNG is a kid-friendly gambling Roblox game that throws you into the thrill of the roll… without the pain of having to part with Robux to roll again. Hit the button to try for a different aura. There are tons to collect, all with different rarities and visual effects. The rarer the aura, the bigger the flex.

Check out the Roblox page for more about Sol’s RNG! If you’re out to keep rolling, then look at our Sol’s RNG codes guide and my The Cheat To Getting Celestial in Sol’s RNG guide.

How To Play Sols RNG

Spoiler alert, I think Sols RNG is fun! It is weirdly addictive in its gameplay and has more to its surface than just rollin’ rollin’ rollin’ (what?) for auras.

Where To Begin In Sols RNG

Now, the game doesn’t give much away on first impression except the infinite rolls which are fun for about 5 minutes. You’ll notice fellow players with much cooler auras than yours and now there is a sense of determination to get a rare aura for yourself, right?

Drop Items

I recommend getting familiar with your surroundings first. Most importantly, learning the drop locations for Coins, Luck Potions, Speed Potions and the Gilded Coin. The map is quite small, so you’ll have no problem finding the nooks and crannies where they pop up.

Check map corners, behind trees, and any surface you can climb and no doubt you’ll stumble across them!

Crafting

It is also important to visit Jake’s Workshop which is off to the left from spawn, you won’t miss him! Here you can craft items which increase your luck, reduce roll cooldown time, or do both! You can even craft certain auras here which is pretty nifty! Crafting is the core element of this game and the idea is that you exchange auras for items.

Managing Storage

I made this mistake so if you need any wisdom this is the section to pay attention to! Your Storage has limited slots which can be expanded using Coins. Coins are earned from finding them around the map, completing Quests and completing Achievements.

If your inventory space is full and you don’t automatically re-organise your current auras, you will lose the aura from the front slot in return for the new aura you keep. The issue with this is that sometimes you won’t notice the order of your auras and end up losing something with a decent rarity… RIP to my first Precious Aura.

To combat this, check your Storage often to make sure you always have a few free slots when rolling. Visit Jake and see if you can deposit any auras into a crafting recipe.

Parkour!

In front of the spawn is a little platform jump with a floating island at the end. If you cross this, you get sent back to spawn with a timed Luck boost! Not bad considering it is only a few jumps wide. You can repeat this as many times as you want and get a boost every time!

Quests and Achievements

Onto Quests and Achievements! I’ll combat each of these separately so you know the difference.

Quests

Quests are limited-time and you obtain a bundle of cash and exclusive Auras. Currently, the only quest giver in Sols RNG is the Lime NPC, who stands under a tree behind Spawn. She offers a variety of Valentine-themed quests and rewards you with Limited Auras.

Achievements

Achievements are permanent to the game and can be completed once. They typically only give coins as rewards which can be used to expand your inventory space. Some of these achievements are a breeze to work through whilst others are more demanding. As you progress naturally, you’ll complete these unknowingly, whilst Quests take a more specific approach.

Weathers and Biomes

The weather condition and day-night cycle impacts what auras you can roll for. Some auras are night exclusives, some are day, and others can only be obtained during rainy weather or Starfall. There are a lot of random considerations when you’re hunting for a specific aura.

You can always check what weather and time of day it is in the bottom left of the game screen. Sadly, Luck boosts of any kind won’t increase your chances of getting specific weather to happen, but Luck boosts DO work during them, so get rolling!

Breakthroughs

The exception to weather-time-specific auras is Breakthroughs. Breakthroughs are identified by their black screen animation followed by a glow before you get an on-screen notification of a (typically) higher rarity aura.

Breakthroughs happen randomly whilst rolling and give you the rare opportunity to not only get a rarer aura, but an aura you typically can’t get during the current game conditions (weather/day cycle).

Is Sols RNG A Good Game?

I’d say so, but you’ll have to give it a go again after taking what you learned in this guide. It is very simple. Very very simple. But it is fun, low commitment, and rather rewarding! I know I won’t be satisfied until I have the Bounded aura anyway, so back to the grind for me!
