Pengullet is located to the northeast of where you find the Plateau of Beginnings. It’s not too far away from this point, in fact, it’s just down the road. Just keep heading down the hill and if you’ve found the marker for the Grassy Behemoth Hills, you’ve gone a bit too far. Check the map just below for help on finding Pengullet.

I have managed to find Pengullet nearly every time I’ve passed this point in Palworld. This isn’t the only spot you can find it in I’m sure since it’s a pretty common creature. But if you’re early in the game this is undoubtedly the easiest place to get it. Pals wander around in the game though, so even if you can’t find it in the area I’ve marked on the map, be sure to check outside of it to see that there aren’t any hiding in a corner.

How best to use Pengullet

Pengullet is a good companion to have in battle in the early hours of Palworld. But even as you level up it can get some neat combat abilities. One of the coolest being Pengullet’s Rocket Launcher which it unlocks once you select it on the 17th level of the technology tree. Just make sure you don’t get too attached to this Pal since it won’t be able to stand up against some of the tougher enemies later in the game.

Pengullet’s main element is water, so that makes it brilliant for watering crops around your camp. And that’s incredibly important as you build out your base since you won’t have to worry about growing food so much. Pengullet can also put out fires in Palworld, which should help your base meet basic health and safety standards.
