Hotel Castillo is one of the most impressive houses in Forza Horizon 5, so how do you unlock it?

Forza Horizon 5 is obviously all about the fast cars and open roads. Racing through the dynamic environments in a souped-up supercar is one of gaming’s simple pleasures. But when you need to take a pause and unlock some perks, where do you go? Well, that’s where houses come into play.

Houses in Forza Horizon 5 allow you to unlock perks, change your characters appearance, and fast-travel. You’ll get your first house for free (lucky you), but at some point you’re going to want to branch out and unlock some more. One of the more eye-catching properties available is Hotel Castillo – a stunning castle overlooking Guanajuanto. So, how do you get your hands on such an impressive piece of architecture?

Unlocking Hotel Castillo requires a significant amount of in-game cash – 5,000,000 CR to be exact. While that’s an eye-watering amount, its Daily Wheelspin perk should help you earn it back in some form or another.

If you’re lacking in funds, though, don’t worry. We have a few handy tips to help you earn some Credits.

Earn Skill Points

You’ll earn skill points for doing just about anything, but it’s where you spend them that’s going to make the difference. Navigate to mastery tab for your car of choice and start putting those points into things that earn you credits and wheelspins. You’ll soon be racking up the points for the simplest actions.

The Goliath

If you’re no stranger to the grind, going a few rounds on the Goliath will help you farm some decent credits. Of course the Goliath is a pretty long race, so you’ll need to be prepared to allocate a fair amount of time to the cause. Adjusting the AI difficulty will increase the credit mulitplier, so go for the one that gives you the most successful return.

Sell Of Hard to Find Cars

For those of you who aren’t the sentimental type, selling exclusive cars at the auction can be a good way to earn some cash. Each season there’ll be cars that can only be earned through the seasonal events. Once the season is over, these cars will start going up in value. It’s a bit of work, and a little bittersweet to sell off an exclusive car you worked so hard to get, but if you want the big houses the sacrifices will need to be made somewhere.

Whatever your method, with enough time and patience, you’ll be sitting in castle luxury eventually. Good luck, and happy farming.
