Just like the previous Far Cry games, Far Cry 6 has a secret ending. There are specific things that you need to do in order to get the ending and it is pretty easy to miss. In this Far Cry 6 guide, we are going to walk you through how you can get the secret ending.
Note: This is a guide covering the alternative ending of the game. If you are not interested in spoilers then you should not read any further.
Far Cry 6 Secret Ending
Once you join the rebellion to free Yara, you will find yourself on a mission in which you need to take down Anton Castillo’s naval blockade. This will happen during the 7th mission of the game, so it is pretty early on. Once the mission is completed you will be on Libertad’s sanctuary island and the next mission is going to start on its own. The mission is called The Guerrilla.
Clara is going to give you the keys to the boat as promised. At this point, you can either stay and fight or you can take the boat and go to America. When the mission starts you will be on the dock and you can turn around and get into the boat. Do that and interact with the engine in order to start it and start driving the boat.
You need to head southeast and head for the open waters. You then need to follow your compass towards the west and you will hear Dani say that the fight is not for her. This will then trigger a cutscene in which you see Dani 3 months later on a beach. You hear a broadcast on the radio mentioning that Anton was able to take down the rebellion and its leader, Clara.
