Inbound Warhammer 40K: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters Gets PS5, PS4 Gameplay Overview

The unfortunately named Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters was revealed for PlayStation platforms last month and is on track for a 20th February deployment on PS5 and PS4. Daemonhunters tasks players with purging pestilent Nurgle cultists with flame, Bolter, and righteous fury in tense, tactical encounters, and we got an illuminating gameplay overview trailer showing us how it all works.

To be reductive, Daemonhunters is a brilliant, modern spin on the XCOM formula, divided between a strategic overarching campaign map and turn-based deployments where every decision can have lasting consequences. Of course, it all comes wrapped in a gritty 40K package, so this one is an easy recommendation for Warhammer fans especially. Released on PC in 2022, it still enjoys Mostly Positive reviews on Steam and should be on the radar of the increasingly spoiled strategy fans playing on PlayStation.
