Inter vs Roma Match Analysis and Prediction

Serie A returns after the international break with a mouth-watering fixture as Inter Milan host Roma at San Siro in their Matchday Eight tie on Saturday.

Inter Milan have been struggling to find their stride this season and they have currently won four and lost three of their opening seven matches. They sit seventh on 12 points in the table five points off the summit and two points outside the top four places.

They suffered a disappointing 3-1away defeat to Udinese last time and they will be keen to bounce back on Saturday. They are unbeaten against Roma in their last 11 meetings across all competitions, winning the last four consecutively. Therefore the Nerazzurri should fancy their chances of bouncing back.

Meanwhile Roma have not been better off than Inter this season as the capital club only sit one point and one place above the Nerazzurri.

Roma suffered a 1-0 home defeat to Atalanta in their previous league fixture, making it their second defeat this season and they will be looking to bounce back on Saturday. They have however failed to win in their last six visits to San Siro against Inter, suffering defeats in the last three consecutively.

Inter have won all there three home fixture this season and  thus Roma will need to play at the top of the game on Saturday to come away with something in this fixture.
