The UFC officially signed Vinicius Oliveira after a knockout win in his fight on Dana White’s Contender Series. Shortly following his knockout victory and promotion signage, his debut match was announced. The promotion scheduled Oliveira to make his debut against Benardo Sopaj at UFC Vegas 87. Sopaj at the time had a professional record of 11-2-0. With less than fifteen professional fights, he’s competed in a plethora of promotions. The matchup against Oliveira appeared it was going to go all three rounds & end in a decision.
