GTA (Grand Theft Auto) 5 came out in 2013, and people couldn’t get enough of it. It became one of the best-selling video games ever, reaching $1 billion in revenue within the first three days of release. 

It’s been a while since GTA 5 came out, and the good news is Rockstar Games just revealed the first GTA 6 trailer. However, we may have to wait many months until the next one.

Insider Gaming is a well-known site that covers rumors and news in the video gaming industry. The platform’s owner, Tom Henderson, also posts inside scoops on upcoming titles via his Twitter profile. He has become a trusted source regarding video game journalism. 

Henderson recently shared his guess on when fans can expect GTA 6’s Trailer 2. He states it’ll be a while until Rockstar Games releases the second GTA 6 trailer since the same happened to GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2. The second trailer of the former game came out 17 months after the first, and Trailer 2 of the latter was revealed 11 months after the first. Therefore, GTA 6’s second trailer may follow suit.

Players may be frustrated about the long wait for GTA 6’s second trailer, but the first was leaked earlier than its established release date. Rockstar Games announced its plans to show the video on Tuesday, Dec. 5 at 9:00 a.m. ET. The developer released it on Dec. 4 because of the leak.

This isn’t the first time someone leaked GTA 6 news. According to The Independent, a user named “Teapotuberhacker” posted a file containing 90 videos of gameplay footage that spread like wildfire across social media. Fans shouldn’t get their hopes up; the videos are no longer available.

Someone may leak the second GTA 6 trailer before its official release since fans have been waiting for the game forever. GTA 6 is scheduled to come out on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S in 2025.
