Just Eat and Riot Games Announce Regional Partnership

Riot Games has completed another partnership agreement ahead of Worlds 2022. Just Eat and Riot Games have joined forces before the biggest League of Legends event of the year.

Just Eat Joins the List of Riot’s Partners

The biggest League of Legends event of the year is at the door and Riot Games announces its partners ahead of the competition. Recently, the company announced that it has joined forces with Tiffany & Co. to redesign the Worlds trophy. After that, the G-Loot partnership was announced by the company, even though it was for its other product, VALORANT. This time, the new partner is one of the world’s largest food delivery brands, Just Eat.

Just Eat is one of the world’s biggest food delivery brands. The Danish company was founded in 2000. It currently operates in seven countries, the United Kingdom, Denmark, Ireland, Italy, France, Spain, and Switzerland. In 2020, Just Eat was acquired by Takeaway.com and the two companies merged after the agreement. Besides, takeaway.com operates in 14 countries, the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Poland, Austria, Switzerland, Portugal, Luxembourg, Romania, Bulgaria, Israel, France, Denmark, and Norway. The company also owns different businesses in North America, related to food delivery as well.

What Can We Expect From This Partnership?

According to the announcement, Just Eat will be featured in the League of Legends World Championship’s German, Polish, and Spanish streams. It includes in-game sponsor rotation, logo placement during countdowns and breaks, and also the affiliate links of the tournament. Moreover, Just Eat will be the official sponsor of the analysis segments in the countries mentioned. There are no details about the upcoming events or whether the partnership will continue or not. It will probably be clear in the upcoming months as we get closer to the 2023 season.

This year’s League of Legends Championship will welcome 24 teams from all around the globe. The best teams in each region will come up against each other to become the best in the world. The play-in stage will start on October 30 and then the best teams on the stage will qualify for the main event. Just like every year, the competition will be tough as the best teams in each region will compete against each other and see who the better side is. The odds of each team will vary according to their Worlds and regional performances and the LoL betting side of things will also be pretty tough.
