Kill the dragons and kiss the princess in Princess.Loot.Pixel.Again x2 on Xbox

If you were to ask us what game we’d like to see a sequel for, it’s unlikely we would have stuck Princess.Loot.Pixel.Again near the top of our list. But that’s exactly what we’ve got as some eight months on from the launch of that original game, we’re being tasked with playing once more, with Princess.Loot.Pixel.Again x2.

Available to purchase and download right this minute from the Xbox Store, playable on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S and costing a mere £3.29, Princess.Loot.Pixel.Again x2 follows on from the previous release of Princess.Loot.Pixel.Again – a game that we tried to give a big 5/5 to, on the soundtrack alone. 

The problem was, whilst Princess.Loot.Pixel.Again x2 had some banging tunes, the gameplay failed miserably, knocking it down so much that it ended up with a 2/5 review score from us. It was extremely limited. It had duff combat. It had weird difficulty spikes. But here we are, semi-excited to see if Princess.Loot.Pixel.Again x2 is able to right those wrongs. 

We’ve not yet played Princess.Loot.Pixel.Again x2 but will be doing so for full review very soon, but if it doesn’t come with the same great soundtrack that its predecessor worked, we’re going to be asking for a refund. Hell, that audio just needs to be half as good and we’ll be happy – provided that the gameplay is much more up to snuff this time around. 

Will it? Who knows, but the premise is just about what we would expect from the game. See, Princess.Loot.Pixel.Again x2 is the sequel to that previous game and that means we’re getting randomly generated dungeons, a load of humour and at least two times the amount of loot, enemies, objects, artifacts, secrets and bosses. The clue is in the name. 

With a pixel comic visual style and the promise of plenty of bizarro, if you’ve ever been in the market for a game in which you’ll get to save cats, kill dragons and kiss princesses, then Princess.Loot.Pixel.Again x2 is going to be for you.
