Endpoint have announced that they have signed Kjaerbye to round out their roster, filling the gap left after Mohammad “BOROS” Malhas decided to place himself on the bench and pursue other opportunities.
The move sees the Dane return to official activity for the first time in nearly a year. He last played in mid-2021 with a mix of mainly former North players called HYENAS, a project that he joined following a short and unsuccessful stint with FaZe and that ended up quickly disbanding.
Kjaerbye decided to hang up his mouse not long after that, citing a lack of hunger and dedication to the game, but in early April this year the former Astralis member revealed that he was ready to come back to being a professional player after rediscovering his love for competing.

Now, two months later, Endpoint sign the Dane as they’re looking to return to the top 30 following two critical additions in former MOUZ coach Allan “Rejin” Petersen and a Major winner and MVP in Kjaerbye, bringing a wealth of tier-one experience to a team that has largely competed on the lower tiers.
“It’s a truly exciting prospect to be able to bring Markus into the Endpoint CS team,” the organization’s CEO, Adam Jessop, stated. “There is no denying the caliber of talent and experience he will bring to the lineup. After having a number of conversations with him, I fully believe that he is as passionate and focused as ever, ready to continue his CS career again, and that we can help him along that journey.”

Endpoint now have a little over a week to prepare for their debut with the new signing, which will take place in Jönköping, Sweden, where the team will play in the ESL Pro League Season 16 Conference stage for six spots in the main portion of the prestigious event.
