Tragedy Strikes

First off, Aspen the cat isn’t a Stray. He’s been living in the mansion of Bernard Mason for a good while now. However, tragedy starts as Bernard passes away, and the remaining Masons – children, grandchildren and the likes – all return to the mansion for one last time. Anyone that has lost a relative will know how sad this period of mourning can be.

You control Aspen as you wander around the mansion piecing together intertwined stories from several generations of the Mason family tree.

There will be love, loss, hopes and regrets as these stories all weave together to form a grander tale. It may even leave you with a question of just how special this cat was to the Mason household.

A Point and Click Cat Conundrum

Cats and the Other Lives adopts a pixel art style that appears to showcase the Mason mansion in all its glory. This should also help as you point and click your way to the next marker, utilising Aspens unique cat dexterity to help you navigate the mansion and see things from a different perspective.

Cats and the Other Lives is on the Xbox Store now priced at £16.74. It’s playable on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
