In the new 11.23 patch updates, a few League of Legends champions have been updated to fit the concept of Riot Game’s new show, Arcane. This includes new sound effects and visual effects for Jayce and Jinx, while Caitlyn received an Art and Sustainability Update.
Riot announced a new ASU for Caitlyn, reworking and modernizing all of her in-game models, voiceovers, sound effects, and visual effects. Caitlyn’s skins and splashes have all been updated, and some redone, in order to “streamline her future visuals, skins and overall development.”
In addition to Caitlyn’s new visual update, Riot has re-coded her Headshots. Riot’s reasoning for this rework was because of several occasions where Caitlyn was able to Headshot while her basic attack was still on cooldown. This new update ensures that her Headshots use her basic attacks timer. Riot is monitoring this rework to ensure Caitlyn does not get unintentionally nerfed.

All of Jayce’s voiceovers have been remastered for clarity and quality. For the Base and Debonair skin, Jayce’s basic attacks, passive and abilities have all been modernized and reworked with new visual effects. His recall special effects have also been changed in order to match thematic concepts.
Jinx has similar updates as Jayce for her Base, Ambitious Elf, Crime City, Heartseeker, Firecracker, Odyssey, and Zombie Slayer Jinx. Crime City, Firecracker, and Zombie Slayer skins. New visual effects and glows have been added to Jinx’s missiles and telegraph visuals. Her recall has also been given a new special effects update.
