LEAK: Call of Duty 2025 Will Feature Remastered Black Ops 2 Maps

A new leak claims Call of Duty 2025 will feature remastered Black Ops 2 maps in a continuation from Treyarch’s Call of Duty 2024 title.

After months of rumors, Activision finally dropped the reveal trailer for Call of Duty 2023 in the Warzone Shadow Siege Event. Much to the community’s excitement, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is set to bring back Zombies, slide cancelling, and the classic minimap on Nov. 10.

The next Call of Duty title will also feature remastered Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2009) maps come launch day, including Afghan, Scrapyard, Terminal, and more. Plus, all weapons, Operators, and Bundles from the current Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will carry forward to Modern Warfare 3.

As fans gear up for the highly anticipated launch, a fresh leak suggests Call of Duty 2025 could be following a similar pattern and design strategy to Modern Warfare 3.

Although Modern Warfare 3 is still two months away, leaks for future Call of Duty titles are popping up on X/Twitter. According to X user, el_bobberto, Call of Duty 2025 “seems to be like MWIII but for Treyarch’s 2024 title, featuring BO2 multiplayer map remasters.”

The leaker does caution fans that “this is very likely to change within the next 2 years.” As we get closer to Call of Duty 2025, there will be much more intel to form a concrete assessment of what to expect after Treyarch’s Call of Duty 2024.

If the leak is true, fans can expect to see the following Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 maps at launch:

We already saw remastered versions of Raid, Express, and Standoff in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War; now, we could be seeing them again in Call of Duty 2025.

Stay tuned for more updates on future Call of Duty titles.
