LEAK: Shipment Returning in Modern Warfare 3

Call of Duty leakers claim fan-favorite map, Shipment, is returning in Modern Warfare 3.

The hype for the full release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 grows with each passing day. After a successful first Beta weekend, Weekend 2 is here and now open to players on all platforms. Based on community feedback, Activision added some gameplay updates, including better visibility, and added Highrise to the map rotation.

As fans explore the remastered Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2009) maps, they just might have another throwback map to look forward to come November.

With just one month until the launch of MW3, Call of Duty leakers revealed Shipment is returning in Sledgehammer Games’ title.

Although Shipment will allegedly be featured in MW3, leaker, MWIIIINTEL, reports the map “likely isn’t on launch.” The leak also adds, “No clue if this is the MWII version or not.”

At this point, the return of Shipment is fairly unsurprising. Not only has the map appeared in the last few Call of Duty games, but it also fits in with the throwback theme of Modern Warfare 3. As MW3 Season 1 gears up to drop new maps, Shipment could be thrown in the mix as well.

Even if Shipment is not included in the map rotation come Nov. 10, here’s all the MW3 maps available at launch:

Although the addition of zero new maps disappointed the community, the return of some fan-favorite choices, like Terminal and Highrise, are a welcomed sight after the disappointing maps in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

As we enter the second weekend of the Modern Warfare 3 Beta, fans can now play the following maps:

The Modern Warfare 3 Beta ends on Monday, Oct. 16.
