Lords Mobile x Armored Combat Worldwide Brought Lords Mobile to Life Earlier This Month – Droid Gamers

Despite launching just under eight years ago on mobile, Lords Mobile has just held its most exciting event.

Thanks to a partnership with Armored Combat Worldwide, Lords Mobile came to life over the weekend of November 10-12th, seeing 300 real-life combatants battle with genuine armour and weapons in a real life guild war.

Other than the 150 vs 150 match there were a number of 5 vs 5 battles, with flags given to the winning guilds. Those flags were then paraded by the victors in a final ceremony. There were even cosplayers dressed as various heroes on the day of the event, with the location dedicated with Lords Mobile banners everywhere you looked.

Armored Combat embodies values like courage, perseverance, and fighting spirit – with the game also looking for players that possess similar qualities. Just looking at the images in this article you can see how much courage, perseverance, and fighting spirit was on show.

Lords Mobile x Armored Combat Worldwide kicked off with a bunch of in-game events to build momentum for these epic clashes too.

You could sign in daily to earn Combat Coins, which you then spent in the Combat Shop for exclusive event rewards like themed Avatars, Emotes, and Artifacts. Then there was the collab-exclusive Monster, Armored Soul, which you could tackle with your guild for tonnes of rewards.

The rest of the collaboration was split into two major events, including Guild Fest. This saw six guilds compete against each other between September 11 – 17, with the two winners getting the two ACW teams named after them.

This saw the names and logos of the guilds appear on the actual armour the teams worn during the physical event. The two guilds also won five tickets each, so members of the winning team could go to the live ACW tournament.

The second was Armored Clash, which also took place in September, and saw a bunch of in-game guilds competing in three different rounds of events. The top four ranked guilds at the end of Armored Clash lent their names to the ACW semi-final teams, and won five tickets per guild to watch the event live.

Tickets were also granted to lucky players on social media, which resulted in a ton of Lords Mobile players going to the live event in person. Tickets included accommodation, an exclusive merchandise gift pack, and, of course, entry to the live show. And it really was just Lords Mobile brought to life, as 300 trained combatants battled each other with real weapons and armour emblazoned with Lords Mobile guild logos. It was a site to behold for those lucky enough to make the trip. Just look at those excited faces below.

ACW is perhaps the perfect collaboration for Lords Mobile, which prides itself on its fascination with mediaeval battling. Both share this love and appreciation for history in different ways, with Lords Mobile bringing the spectacle of large-scale warfare on your phone, while ACW does the same thing in the real world. In a way, the role players that make up ACW are like real-life Lords Mobile guild members, too. There are internal rivalries, bonds, and socialising, just like in Lords Mobile.

To top it all off, ACW debuted a special set of customised armour that draws inspiration from the in-game Lords Mobile ‘Oathkeeper’s Armour-set’. It was an incredibly exciting event, organised by two passionate companies who love mediaeval warfare. Follow Lords Mobile on Facebook to keep an eye out for future in-game and real-life events.

You can also grab Lords Mobile on the App Store, Google Play, and Steam, if you’re yet to check it out.
