Marvel’s Midnight Suns Developer Message Released

Ahead of its release next month, Firaxis Games and 2K have released a special developer message for their upcoming strategy title Marvel’s Midnight Suns.

Senior Franchise Producer Garth DeAngelis is joined by Creative Solomon to share their excitement over this upcoming title.They mention that the development of this title has been a heck of a journey, Producer Rony Kahana shares her favorite part of the development process, while Lead Engineer Will Miller takes a deep dive into the amount of work that went into this title’s dialog system.

Cinematic Artist Andrew Currie talks a bit more about the inner workings of what they can do (including some incredible works of art with Doctor Strange), Lead Designer John Weinhoffer talks about the crazy builds and hero combinations that await players, Senior Technical Animator John Stewart talks about the extra effort that went into the title, Senior UI Programmer Michael LeGrand shares his expertise with his daughter, Associate Producer Emily Watson shares Marvel’s Midnight Suns iconic locations, and Technical Animator Andrew Benson talks about the rigging.

The video also features Lead Tester Albert Briggs talks about the testing, Associate Producer Michael Kotey talks about how they made the individual characters stand out, and finally Production Associate Brian Stansbury talks about the addictive qualities of the game.

The game will come out for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC on December 2.
