Get hyped, everyone — Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has gone gold. This essentially means core development on the game is done, it’s ready to be shipped, and Insomniac Games will be giving itself a deserved pat on the back.

To mark the occasion, the developer has put together a short video featuring various actors from the game — Nadji Jeter (Miles), Yuri Lowenthal (Peter), Laura Bailey (MJ), and Tony Todd (Venom) all have a few words to share as the game reaches the gold status milestone.

The news arrives exactly one month out from launch on PS5. We expect these last few weeks will be put into squashing more bugs ready for a day one patch.
