Microsoft Flight Simulator Douglas DC-3/C-47, Cessna 310, Airbus A340, & Kaohsiung Airport Gets New Videos, Screenshots, & Details

Today third-party developers had quite a few interesting reveals in store for Microsoft Flight Simulator aircraft and scenery add-ons.

We start with Aeroplane Heaven, which posted an extensive look at the classic Douglas DC-3, alongside plenty of release details.

Apparently, the launch of this add-on is “very close.”

As we are now very close to release, we thought we would show you some new preview, in-game shots of the package. The full package includes:

C-47 with droppable paratroops. Two versions, short and long “hedgehog”exhausts.
We have depicted “That’s All Brother” – Lead ship “D-Day” and L4, the aircraft that carried Lt. Winters and the first sticks of 101st Airborne “Easy Company” on the eve of the invasion, now famously known as “The Band of Brothers”.

Apologies for using an imgur gallery, but 75 screenshots would have taken an enormous chunk of space with our tiled gallery.

Next comes MilViz, which after trickling teases of the upcoming Cessna 310, has opened the floodgates with a massive video showcasing a full flight.

WelshSimulations new renders and a video of its freeware Airbus A340.

Specifically, we take a look at the animations and a couple of renders of the external model in Lufthansa and PlusUltra liveries.

You can follow both aircraft’s progress on the developer’s Discord server.

Last, but not least, we move on to scenery, with tons of screenshots of Kaohsiung International Airport (RCKH) by ACO Design Studio.

We also learn that it’ll release in April both on SimMarket and on the official Marketplace, for PC and Xbox.

The package also appears to include several surrounding landmarks.
