Modern Warfare 2 Multiplayer for console will release on a regional rollout, beginning from 4 am PT, or 12 pm BST. Luckily for some, New Zealanders will be among the first to be able to head into the game, but you can be cheeky and switch your console region to join them.

For PC Users, the release will, unfortunately, be a little later and will release at 9 pm PT on the 28th, or 5 am BST on the 29th. This will apply to both Steam and Battlenet, and there’s no way to get around the release time.

Additionally, Modern Warfare 2 is now available for all players to pre-load, so you can get into the action as soon as the game releases in your time zone.
