Mousesports looked phenomenal as the new-look roster featuring Christopher ‘dexter’ Nong stomped Sharks in their opener at the PGL Major Stockholm 2021 Challengers Stage.
The day has finally arrived and you just can’t think of the upsets and the potential, teams have lived up to here at the Challengers Stage of the PGL CS:GO Major. After a year of trial and tribulation, the community has been blessed with a Counter Strike Major, all thanks to the Swedish organizers PGL for their seamless efforts to give us a major after a period of 2 years.
Starting against Sharks, the duo of David ‘frozen’ Čerňanský and Robin ‘ropz’ Kool are the only players to have retained their spot here at Mousesports which saw Finn “karrigan” Anderson join FaZe and the European Squad part ways with Özgür “woxic” Eker and Chris “chrisJ” de Jong.

The Best of One decider saw Sharks open on the Attackers and run away with a swift 3-0 lead before frozen’s 4-kill defense on the A-site frozen added to the account for mousesports. It indeed set up the pace for the mixed-European roster as they were yet again able to convert a 3-kill rampage from dexter, the captain himself, into a successful defuse. The camp at Sharks looked completely destitute and listless as they were locked out of the bomb-sites in successions.
Coming from the break, it was indeed a mere surprise as Mousesports sent Jhonatan “jnt” Silva and company packing conceding just 1 round to the latter on their attack. Mousesports would further face Heroic at 23:30 PM IST while Sharks would meet Tyloo in the lower rounds.
Astralis face Entropiq in the Lower matches after their debacle against Danish counterparts Copenhagen Flames in their opener which forced Lukas “gla1ve” Rossander and his men back to the drawing board, a wake-up call to evaluate their options going forward, head to head against Entropiq.
