We fell in love with AVICII Invector when it launched on Xbox back in 2019. Even if we knew little about the music of the great man himself. But now Hello There Games are back. And this time they are asking you to move to the musical masterpieces found in Invector: Rhythm Galaxy on Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch. 

The next installment in the critically acclaimed rhythm action series is Invector: Rhythm Galaxy. It comes about via a collab between the indie team at Hello There Games and the Warner Music Group, as gamers get the chance to feel the rhythm of the beat once more. 

A multitude of artists

Moving focus away from one singular artist like that found in AVICII Invector, Invector: Rhythm Galaxy will see you navigating a little ship – or ships – across a galactic tale. This is a tale that is powered by rhythm action gameplay. Much like in Rock Band or Guitar Hero, progress in Invector: Rhythm Galaxy is found as you tap whatever corresponding button comes hurtling along a beat conveyor. All playing out in time to multiple tunes. 

If you previously played AVICII Invector, you’ll know what to expect in this one. You’ll get to take in a Campaign, or work through a Single Player or Multiplayer mode. You’ll be found honing skills as you go, navigating through Casual and then increasingly tricky difficulty levels. Of course, as you’d expect, the trickier the difficulty, the more buttons will need to be hammered.

Looking stunning, it’s in the tunes that Invector: Rhythm Galaxy should shine. Our full review is in the works and we’ll let you know how it plays soon.
