Much like many other teams across the MPL, Team HAQ have opted to add an import into their roster going into Season 11.

As the Mobile Legends Professional League continues to grow on the global stage, more and more teams are bringing in players from different regions. For Malaysia, we have Indonesian imports over the years, but this season we are starting to see a rise in Philippines players making their way across. With a handful now scattered across the MPL MY for Season 11, Team HAQ were not about to be left behind – as unlikely as that may seem.

After a magnificent Season 10, the team were swiftly eliminated from the M4 World Championships by the Turkish representatives, Incendio Supremacy – an unexpected loss for a MPL MY champion team. Following that, the team has made some minor changes to their roster, with two players changing their role, and a few new faces joining the roster.

First and foremost from the changes is captain, Mohamad “Lolla” Nilzaihan’s swap from a flex player to a pure EXP laner, while Poh Chun “Panda” Wai becomes another roaming player for the squad. Robert Remar “Hito” Candoy comes in as the PH-connection for the team, having once donned the Smart Omega Esports colours, he will be taking up the Gold lane role for Season 11. The full team roster for Team HAQ is:

  • Mohamad “Lolla” Nilzaihan
  • Muhammad “Garyy” Syafizan
  • Aiman Zairie “Mann” Bin Anuar
  • Aimin Zairie “Minn” Bin Anuar
  • Poh Chun “Panda” Wai
  • Robert Remar “Hito” Candoy
  • Zai
  • Al

While the two new players are not really known, the team still have the insane power of Garyy in the Jungle, plus Minn and Mann to control the map together. Additionally, Hito could prove to be a major influence on the team, especially from the gold lane. We still have a few weeks remaining before MPL MY Season 11 kicks off, but this team is likely to go all the way to the top once again.
