The 30th Anniversary Celebration is poised to be one of the biggest events in recent years. With the combination of COVID and an unclear competitive scene, there hasn’t been a real call for a large event for players to come together. With the MTG 30th Anniversary Celebration that all changes.

The celebration will highlight all of the unique things that has kept Magic alive for all of these years. Mark Rosewater will be hosting an Unfinity draft with attendees. It will showcase Magic’s top players through the past year with the Magic World Championship. Select players will have a shot to draft Limited Edition Beta. There will even be an appearance from the one and only Richard Garfield to top it all off.

The party never stops however, and Wizards of the Coast even more events for 2023. Next year there will be four multi-day celebrations of all that is Magic. In addition, there will be more Magic headed to North Carolna for the first Pro Tour of 2023. There will be more events like the Pro Tour to come in 2023, but those details will be revealed at a later date. For now, players need to find their party hats to enjoy the MTG 30th Anniversary Celebration.
