It’s hardly a huge surprise, but 2K Sports is starting the hype cycle for NBA 2K23. On the basketball simulation’s official Twitter page, it told fans to “get ready” as the publisher “reveals our cover stars, release gameplay first looks, and more”. It’s one of those posts that you can like for future updates, and doing so will reward you with an NBA 2K22 Locker Code.
We anticipate the title will release in early September, as that’s typically when these games launch. The new NBA season will officially begin on 18th October, but 2K Sports has been deploying these games ahead of tip-off in real-life of late. As for potential cover stars, we reckon Steph Curry is highly likely following his recent MVP performance in the Golden State Warriors’ championship run.
