Pokemon Scarlet and Violet continue to have very interesting new Pokemon revealed. After news was dry for a bit, things are starting to heat back up. During the Pokemon World Championships there were some announcements to be expected. The competitive aspects coming to the new games were shown along with a brand new Scarlet and Violet Pokemon.

Everyone is already thinking it with this one, Cyclizar is likely a starter Pokemon essentially.
With it also being a Mount Pokemon, according to the official website, it feels like this is the pre-evolution for the Legendary ride Pokemon Koraidon and Miraidon. The Tweet from the official Pokemon Twitter as well states that it has been a part of Paldean households since the ancient times.
This Pokemon was rumored to be a part of the game for some time now. Many did not expect the Pokemon company to follow the Nebby storyline again, to a certain degree. That said, if the map is as big as they have made it seen, having a Pokemon to ride around on earlier rather than later was necessary.
A big question that many players will be wondering is whether or not Cyclizar will have to count towards their six Pokemon allowed in their team? It is clear with this latest trailer that it is not like the Rotom Phone on the ride Pokemon in Legends arceus. Players will be able to battle with it, but will it still be usable when not in the party directly? This will be a very interesting thing that fans will want to know but may have to wait for until the game comes out.
