The modding scene for Stray continues to explode. Just like mods which replace the cat protagonist with other characters like Garfield, a new mod has been released that adds a split-screen multiplayer mode for the game, courtesy of Modder KangieDanie.
The mod can be played with the same keyboard, or a second controller to waltz down the city streets side by side, and KangieDanie isn’t sure how many characters the mod can actually support due to running out of controllers to test with, but at least three cats are possible. Before you all get excited, however, the mod is still in early development, and KangieDanie has stated there are still a number of bugs and noted a few bugs players can expect to run into.
The modding scene for Stray continues to impress and hopefully will continue to shine on.
