Overwatch 2 Mythic Skins Ranked

Overwatch 2 Mythic Skins Ranked

We will be taking a look at the highest tier of cosmetics and have the Overwatch 2 Mythic Skins Ranked

Overwatch 2 has been out for more than a year, but if we consider the initial installment, then the game’s been out for nearly a decade. Naturally, that means there’s a LOT of skins and cosmetics available for every hero and weapon in the game. And if you’re into customization as much as us, then we’re sure that the mythic skins will be something you’ll want to look into.

Introduced in Overwatch 2, the mythic skins are special rarity skins that allow you to customize and change certain aspects of the skin. It’s a very unique concept for cosmetics and certainly something that has attracted the player base. That’s why in this article, we will be looking at all the mythic skins out for Overwatch so far and rank them. Do note that this is a subjective list and just our opinion, so the ranking will differ from person to person.

How To Unlock Overwatch 2 Mythic Skins?

You might be wondering how you’ll be able to unlock all these magnificent skins, and there’s good and bad news regarding that. The good news is that you can get a mythic skin every season as long as you unlock the premium battle pass and get to the highest level possible, which is 80.

The bad news is that if you miss out on a season’s battle pass or simply don’t have enough time to finish it, then you won’t be able to get that season’s mythic skin anymore in the future. Or at least, that’s the situation right now. However, knowing Blizzard, it’s very likely that they’ll be selling all the mythic skins separately in the future inside the shop section, but get ready to pay a high price for it if that ever happens!

8. Onryo Hanzo

As spiritual and demonic as this skin looks, the Onryo Hanzo mythic skin does not have that many options when it comes to customization. We also feel like there’s too much going on in the skin, although it is an extremely cool concept overall. Thus, we’ll have to give him a place at the bottom of our list for now.

The main selling point of these mythic skins is the fact that you can customize them to your heart’s content. So taking that away can be understandably demoralizing for players in terms of purchasing it. With that being said, we still think this is an extremely good skin and that every Hanzo main should consider having it in their collection (if they already have it, that is).

7. Zeus Junker Queen

Giving Junker Town’s cutthroat leader an entirely new look, the Zeus Junker Queen mythic skin presents a godly twist. Introduced first in the Olympus-themed game mode in Overwatch season 2, it’s one of the best skins made for Junker Queen. But from a customization aspect, only the golden color scheme fits our Queen the best, making the other variations obsolete.

6. A-7000 Wargod Ana

The A-7000 Wargod Ana skin gives our fan-favorite deadly medic sniper a massive twist with the cyberpunk extraterrestrial aesthetic that the skin brings to the table. As much as we love this skin, it does not feel like Ana or give off her vibes.

From a lore perspective, the Wargod skin is basically a failed experiment of trying to replicate a soldier’s consciousness into a cybernetic robot. As cool as that concept is, nothing about it looks like Ana, so that’s why she’s ranked number 6 on our list. Regardless, it’s still a great skin and if you have this in your collection, good for you!

5. Galactic Emperor Sigma

Now we enter the territory of the top 5 skins, and the first contender is the Galactic Emperor Sigma. Everything about this mythic skin screams Sigma’s personality and it makes him more menacing and intimidating than he normally is.

With a variety of options available for customization, this mythic skin is a must-have for all SIgma mains, so we hope you put in the effort to get this skin when it was still available in the battle pass!

4. Ancient Caller Moira

Mixing elements of Moira’s villainous demeanor with the aesthetic of prehistoric Gods, the Ancient Caller skin is definitely one of Moira’s best looks. As for the customization, you can change the color scheme (as usual), her visor, and even the tube-thingy on her back (we don’t know what she does with it nor do we want to).

This is the latest mythic skin available for Overwatch 2 at the time this article was written, so if you’re a Moira-main or enjoy playing as her, be sure to start grinding those levels ASAP!

3. Adventurer Tracer

Overwatch 2 Mythic Skins Ranked

Tracer is one of the few heroes in Overwatch 2 that we think does not have many great skins, so seeing her get a mythic skin this good is very refreshing to see. The Adventurer skin takes inspiration from high fantasy and fairytale elements and blends it wonderfully with Tracer’s colorful personality, giving her a place on the 3rd position of our list.

2. Cyber Demon Genji

The first mythic skin introduced in Overwatch 2, the Cyber Demon Genji skin perfectly captures all of our dream of becoming a super-fast shinobi in a cyberpunk world. Featuring neon lights across the whole body and cybernetic enhancements to Genji’s armor and weapons, this mythic skin is a fan favorite for every Overwatch player.

Genji has always been one of the most iconic characters in Overwatch 2, famous for how difficult he is to play and for having an extremely cool personality, so the Cyber Demon mythic skin perfectly encapsulates our love for the witty and wise robot ninja.

1. Amaterasu Kiriko

Ranking number 1 on our list, the Amaterasu Kiriko gives our young healer the power of a Japanese Sun God, and looks amazing while doing so! This mythic skin has very pleasing color schemes with all the weapon variations and armor changes fitting into her aesthetics extremely well.

You can change her headcrown, kunais, healing Ofudas, and even her hairstyle, which covers a lot of ground for customization. Not to mention, she looks amazing in all the variations!

Overall, we think this is the best mythic skin that Overwatch 2 has released for us so far, and if you’re a Kiriko main, then this is clearly a must-have for your skin collection!

And that concludes our list for all the mythic skins in Overwatch 2, ranked in order of appearance and visual appeal. Again, this list is entirely subjective and the opinions of everyone’s favorite mythic skins will differ from one person to another.
