We’ve compiled a list of the up-and-coming support heroes in Overwatch for November 2021.
Support heroes make up the backbone of most competitive teams. A good team will work to keep their supports alive in the same way a support will use everything within their power to keep their team alive. For this list, we’ve based our placements on win and pick rates over the past 30 days coupled with the latest rebalances for each individual hero.

S Tier
Ana and Symmetra are this month’s tried and true supports. Ana, of course, reigns supreme as one of the best—though, occasionally situational—support heroes in Overwatch. Her sleep darts are a play-breaker and her nano is a divine gift (which most Reinhardt’s accept gladly). Meanwhile, Symmetra’s turrets are a genuine game-changer (sorry, Torbjorn) and her kit goes to show that there’s much more to support than just healing.
A Tier
Lucio has been a support favorite for months—and why wouldn’t he be? Not only does he offer both a speed buff to make his teammates almost as mobile as he is, but he’s also incredibly fun to play. Who doesn’t want to glide on walls? Zenyatta, in contrast, is more of a back-line choice. He controls the battle from a distance, bestowing orbs and otherwise shot calling.
B Tier
B-Tier heroes are the general “pick a support” go-to’s. These are the characters that players likely gravitate toward when they’re new to the role or being asked to switch by a teammate. Generally, they either have a good reputation or are easy to play on level that won’t get you laughed at the door.
C Tier
Once queen of healing, Moira has found herself on the bottom rung this month. That’s not to say her abilities aren’t great—but it would appear she’s suffering a bit from her own popularity. Moira isn’t an easy character to pick up and play due to her complex healing and harming matrix. A good Moira understands that her playstyle will have to be as clever as the scientist, herself.
