Pacific Drive Open Headset OS Prompt and How to Deal With It

Learn how to deal with the Pacific Drive Open Headset OS Prompt. No more frustrations.

Pacific Drive is the perfect mix of a S.T.A.L.K.E.R.-esque experience and the fantasy of owning a working car and driving around the Pacific Northwest, taking in its sights. And while many are enjoying their journey through the Zone, some of you are getting stuck on the Open Headset OS Prompt.

We tell you everything you need to know if you want to fix it.

Pacific Drive Open Headset OS Prompt Explained

If you’re struggling with the prompt, don’t worry. A very prominent bug will get players stuck during the tutorial, which teaches you how to use your Headset OS.

Normally you should be able to complete the objective by simply hitting the Tab key or whatever other button/key you have assigned to it to complete this tutorial objective. Normally you should be able to move on to the next objective but the bug messes up the flag which is supposed to give you the next objective.

But there is some good news, the developers are aware of the bug and are planning to stomp it out relatively quickly. If you don’t want to wait, we recommend either restarting the game, trying a new save file, or checking the game for integrity via Steam. You should be able to eventually get past this bug but it is currently unknown what causes it.

You can still play and complete Pacific Drive without ever completing the objective. It is just a little annoying since it’s tied to a useful tutorial. We’ll of course keep you updated once new information becomes available.
