Penn’s M Resort to Double in Size in New $206m Project

Nevada councilors got their shovels dirty this week in a groundbreaking ceremony that will eventually see the Penn Entertainment-operated M Resort Spa Casino double in size on completion of a $206m upgrade.

One of the diggers, Clark County Commissioner Michael Naft, took to X Monday to share the news while expressing optimism for the new development:

Heavy Las Vegas Raiders branding was on display at Penn’s Monday launch presentation. The building of a second tower at the NFL franchise’s official hotel headquarters will include the addition of 384 rooms and updated amenities. Penn also hinted at “additional local partnerships” to be announced at a future date.

According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the expanded meeting space in the new tower will sit below ground and connect to the existing business function area beneath the original tower.

much needed additional room capacity for group business.”

President and CEO of Penn, Jay Snowden, stated the new tower “will benefit from the strong demand of the Henderson locals market while providing much needed additional room capacity for group business.”

Vice President and General Manager of the south side of the Strip-located resort, Hussain Mahrous, said M Resort was looking “forward to hiring new team members and expanding” on infrastructure. He claims this will make his venue a top destination for both guests and convention goers.

Construction is expected to take 18 months with a completion date of around mid-2025.
