First announced for PlayStation 4 earlier this year, it was confirmed this past weekend that A Short Hike will release on 16th November 2021. That’s tomorrow if you’re reading this at the time of publication. A new trailer accompanies the news, and PR company Popagenda shares some very important news: the game will have a Platinum Trophy. “Escape to the wilderness and explore a tiny open world in A Short Hike. Play as Claire, a young bird who is visiting her aunt at Hawk Peak Provincial Park, who decides to make the trek to the very top of the mountain,” reads the YouTube description. All we’ve heard about this game is that it’s a relaxing delight, so maybe it’s one to enjoy in-between some more intense gaming sessions.
Our friends over at Nintendo Life reviewed A Short Hike when it launched on Nintendo Switch, concluding: “An exploration in every sense of the word, A Short Hike is cute without being twee, challenging without being obnoxious, and emotional without being cloying.
