Pokken Tournament DX is North America’s next Nintendo Switch Online Game Trial

Pokken Tournament DX will be offered to Nintendo Switch Online members as the service’s next Game Trial, it’s been announced. It can be accessed by all subscribers, even if you’re not a part of the Expansion Pack tier.

With the Game Trial, Pokken Tournament DX can be played entirely for free between August 18 and August 31. All progress carries over to the full version. My Nintendo members can earn 100 Platinum Points by participating as well.

For those that end up wanting to add the game to their collection, Pokken Tournament will be sold for 30 percent off. The discount goes live on August 18 and lasts until August 31. The sale should be offered to everyone.

Nintendo Switch Online Game Trials sometimes differ by region. In Europe for example, Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana will be that territory’s next demo. Nintendo hasn’t announced any plans for Pokken Tournament DX as a Game Trial in any other region other than North America for now, but we’ll let you know if that changes.
