PS Plus August Games: Essential, Extra & Premium Additions

It’s a brand new month so it’s only natural that the PS Plus August games for its three tiers would be making their way to PS4 and PS5 consoles across the world for players to enjoy.

PS Plus August Games – Essential

Below you can find the PS Plus August games available to subscribers of the Essential tier and above. These games will be available starting Tuesday, 2nd August 2022 and should be added to your library before the following month.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon – PS4/PS5

Go from underdog to dragon in this action RPG as you play as Ichiban Kasuga, a low-ranking grunt of a Yakuza family in Tokyo after he gets out of prison for a crime he didn’t commit. Build a party, spend time with them and unlock new abilities and combo skills.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 Cross-Gen Deluxe Bundle – PS4/PS5

The most iconic skateboarding games ever made have returned as both Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2 are back, rebuilt from the ground up for players to enjoy in glorious HD and with some new additions.

Little Nightmares – PS4

Immerse yourself in a dark and whimsical tale that brings up your childhood fears as you escape The Maw, a vessel of corrupted souls looking to make you their next meal.

PS Plus August Games – Extra

Below you can find an up-to-date list of the PS Plus August games that will be made available to subscribers of the extra tier and above. More games may be added as the month continues so be sure to check back in to see what other titles are coming to the service. As of writing, the date for these additions has not been revealed.

Yakuza 0 – PS4

Go back to where it all began in the glitz and glamour of the 80s and fight your way through Tokyo and Osaka with protagonist Kazuma Kiryu and series regular Goro Majima.

Yakuza Kiwami – PS4

The remake of the original Yakuza title from 2005, Yakuza Kiwami rebuilds the experience from scratch and retells the story of Kazuma Kiryu as he returns to the streets of Japan after a decade-long stint in prison.

Yakuza Kiwami 2 – PS4

Yakuza’s sequel also receives the remake treatment with an updated version of the original that adds a playable campaign with Goro Majima. Taking place a year after the original, an assassination attempt drags Kazuma Kiryu out of a peaceful life to broker peace between rival clans.

PS Plus Games – Premium
