RCB’s IPL win yesterday: Will Jacks’ century stuns Titans

Royal Challengers Bengaluru get their 3rd IPL win yesterday in Ahmedabad , all thanks to Will Jack’s  six-hitting spectacle. RCB was still in the hunt for 201 after the first fifty percent. However, they turned up the heat after that, with Virat Kohli getting the best seat in the house. At the moment, Jacks was struggling with 17 off 17 balls. Over the next 24 balls, he hit 83, breaking an amazing 41-ball ton that helped his team chase down 201 with four overs to spare.

The second half of the innings was when the game was won. In their last 10 overs, Titans went from 82/2 to 200/3. Still, RCB scored 108 runs too many in just 6 overs after the middle of the innings.

Wriddhiman Saha was out early in the first over, in the IPL yesterday. While Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan were kept pretty quiet by the RCB bowlers. Gill was under a lot of pressure because he had a string of low scores and fell right after the powerplay.

Shahrukh Khan does all the work for the promotion.

Shahrukh Khan was given the chance to bat at No. 4, even though he doesn’t get many chances to do so. He dealt only sixes between overs. Glenn Maxwell, Karn Sharma, and Cameron Environmentally Friendly, who were all back, were all hit for big sixes. Sudharsan made up for his slow start as the two Tamil Nadu players put on a show. Shahrukh’s first IPL fifty came off just 23 deliveries before Siraj’s great throw ended his stay.

PowerPlay

RCB needed a powerplay with a lot of boundaries, and they got one because Kohli and Faf du Plessis both got off to great starts. Du Plessis was very serious about his method and quickly got to 23 off of 9 runs. The Titans then had to bring Sai Kishore into the attack to get rid of the RCB captain. But Kohli, first tackled Rashid Khan and then hit Sai Kishore for back-to-back sixes to end the powerplay on a good note.

Middle overs

In terms of purpose, the opener didn’t show any signs of being weak against spin. He not only turned the strike perfectly, but he also regularly hit Rashid and Noor Ahmed for fours. He made a 32-ball fifty and set a huge second fifty percent in the process.

Jacks with a 6 and a 4 off of Mohit Sharma. After that, he broke a 6 off of Sai Kishore and Noor Ahmed to get himself set up. Even though RCB needed 53 runs from 36 balls and had nine wickets in hand. Nobody saw that big moment coming. After that, IPL was finished in just 12 deliveries. Jacks went after Mohit again and hit three sixes in an over that saw the fast bowler get 29. In the next over, Jacks went 6,6,4,6 to get to 94 in a stunning way.

Furthermore, even Rashid couldn’t stop the damage. To win the game, RCB needed one more over, and Jacks had one more hit at Rashid after the break to not only end the game but also strike 100. With his 10th big hit, which shocked the home team, he did it in style.
