The Ultimate TOTS is about to be released in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team, with the Team of the Season event finishing in style with TOTS Award Winner items coming too!

New cards are set to drop for the Golden Boot and Golden Glove winners from the top five leagues, as well as the Player of the Year (POTY) from each.

TOTS Award Winners Release Date

The TOTS Award Winner items will be released at the same time as the Ultimate TOTS promo, starting on Friday, 9 June at the usual time of 1pm ET / 6pm BST.

It is expected that the cards will stay in packs for one week only, then the Team of the Season campaign will come to an end and the Shapeshifters promo will take over on Friday, 16 June.

TOTS Award Winners

This isn’t the first time that we’ve seen Award Winner items in FUT, with the last set released in FIFA 20, with Kevin De Bruyne notably handed a 99 OVR card as the Premier League Player of the Year.

There looks to be a bit of a change with the release in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team, with TOTS Award Winners items coming at the same time as the Ultimate TOTS squad, likely replacing their Team of the Season counterparts in packs (if they were to be selected for the Ultimate squad).

It is also said that we will gain a small squad of TOTS Award Winners, with items coming to the Golden Boot and Golden Glove winner, and the POTY, from the Premier League, Bundesliga, La Liga, Ligue 1 and Serie A.

We are still waiting for more official information from EA regarding the items, but the latest loading screen revealed that they were on the way.

It is unclear if the TOTS Award Winners will have slightly changed stats compared to their TOTS versions, but the leaks suggest they will just be a redesigned card.

The new items are only thought to be coming via packs, and won’t be available via SBCs or Objectives.
