Why wouldn’t you? Onsyde just “partnered” with Vitality, still the same team.

So which A-Tier players do we miss this season? Heromarine (he apparently really has no interest in playing WTL I guess?), Creator, Astrea, Dark and if we want to still count him SpeCial? And some players with questionmarks, like Rogue and Lemon?

From what I understand from Rotti he will play when he’s available and it sounded like we should see him at some point this season.

Serral is not in their week 1 line up, FYI. But the addition of Showtime honestly made that a non issue vs most teams in the league for Basilisk.

Whispers about HM not playing due to IRL (I had a discussion about it in the WTL discord earlier)

As for the others, SpeciaL’s lower commitment this year sounds like a red flag (looking at his results in the regional)

The more general hypothesis I might gamble on : either players not feeling the need to play team league

Players and teams not reaching agreement over a contract

Teams focusing on ESWC

Not agreeing to the prize money split in the case of an alliance.

Could be any of it.

Not a huge fan of the team + allied team/single player mercenary format. I liked the previous format which mandated players had to compete on the same team.

There’s been some solid additions to the team since the last time we were in WTL Code S so I can’t wait to see how it pans out. We’re probably going to be in the relegation scrap, but I think we can survive!

Agreed, but the big Teams from other esports poaching wtl teams top players made this rule change necessary to still have the same top players in the league
