Rumour: Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons May Be Getting the Remake Treatment

Here we go again — the ever-reliable billbil-kun has dug up another impending game announcement. Posting on X (formerly and preferably known as Twitter), the leaker has suggested Josef Fares’ debut game is making a comeback.

Yes, it appears Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons is set to return in a remake:

Little is known about this rumoured project, only that it’ll apparently be announced soon — presumably at The Game Awards — and will be published by 505 Games, which brought us the original too.

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons first launched on PS3 in 2013, and was then ported to PS4 two years later. It’s a single-player game in which you control the titular brothers simultaneously as they journey to help their dying father. If this rumour is true, we’re curious to see what a remake version can add to the experience.

Either way, it’s an interesting possibility, and not one we’d ever have thought of. Would you be interested in a potential Brothers remake? Tell us in the comments section below.
